Very strange and near useless to business users in both directions with times like that.

This whole situation is very strange. One can only assume that Aer Lingus Regional will now put that aircraft to better use on other high profile routes and that maybe Flybe just wanted to get maximum use of their own SOU based aircraft (?). But there is still some explaining to do as to what/why this move has occured (although I have a feeling we won't get it).

I see that there are now two DUB-SEN-DUB rotations scheduled to operate on Sundays wef 26 October. The BE393 arrives SEN at 10:05 and the BE395 at 19:45. I wonder if we may see further increases in frequency beyond this?

I wish we would get more information from Stobart Air regarding the DUB-SEN route, for instance are Aer Lingus Regional pulling out of this route, if not why is the winter 2014/15 schedule not on sale yet? and is Stobart Air involved in some way with the new Flybe service, its all very confusing, come on Stobart clear up this and make a statement soon, they must be losing bookings surely.

Flybe/Stobart Air are increasing the frequency on their SEN-CFR route from 4 x weekly to 6 x weekly for the period from 26 July until 23 August. Additional flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays during that period.

I have noticed a further interesting development in terms of the Dublin route. Flybe have now released extra flights on the Southend - Dublin route on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday. Though that is good news in itself the timing of the flights suggests potentially better news for southend These fights will operate as follows:
Dep southend - 14:50 Arr Dublin - 16:35
Dep Dublin - 17:00 Arr southend - 18:35
This suggests that the afternoon service at least will be operated by a southend based machine which would be great news. I wonder of this could potentially mean further routes may be expected or if the service will be operated by a stobart air ATR? Any thoughts from 'those in the know?'

I would tend towards expecting 4 nights a week would be by Stobart Air, and the Sunday night by Flybe. Time will tell I guess.

That may be the plan although a rotation to either Groningen or Antwerp will need to be dropped to accommodate this flight. Can't see it being Groningen as it is only 1x daily and Antwerp relies on freq to compete with cityjet out of LCY

I wouldn't be surprised if they drop some Antwerp flights in order to accommodate this. Antwerp already has up to 4 daily flights to LCY, and forward bookings don't exactly appear to have been spectacular. On the other hand (going purely from the Flybe website), Groningen seems to be selling reasonably well.

mikkie4 28 extra flights a week?? thats 4 extra flights a day, i dont think so. I read that press release and i think what they meant is a extra 28 flights to Caen & Rennes over the School Summer holiday period starting 3rd July and going on to end of August, still good news though.

Yes, it's an additional nine rotations on SEN-CFR on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 26th July and 23rd August and five on SEN-RNS on Saturdays over a similar period. Considering the fact that these additional flights were put on sale at short notice they seem to be selling quite well, at least on the CFR route.
