There is certainly room for expansion at SEN from EZY. 15 routes from 3 based aircraft though shows you that with the exception of AMS a lot of the routes are operating at quite low frequencies (or seasonally), however you do get a greater variety of destinations. Nice to see that all the aircraft are being fully utilised.

It's flights for March 2016 released on Friday. It does depends on how quickly they want any new route(s) to start and if they actually will base another aircraft at SEN. If not Friday then perhaps early September we will know. Fingers crossed as it would be a big shot in the arm for SEN, and probably a return to over 1m ppa in 2016. www.easyjet.com/en/schedule-release

I looks like the demise of yet another route, Berlin SXF seems to have vanished from February 2016 passenger numbers have dropped by a third, this seems to be due to a cut in route schedule and the loss of one airframe. There has also been a significant drop in the numbers to all other locations, down to the loss of this airframe (has this caused the hike in prices)as well as a loss in Pax and forceing us to use other points to fly from.

Easyjet would be wise to check what has caused the reduction in passengers, this was a bad flight time from Berlin not realy suitable for business clients and could not assure onward travel was available. It would be worth Easyjet thinking about useing a Berlin based aircraft on this route with suitable business departure and im sure SEN passengers would still be there in sufficent numbers to warrant good yeilds.

There is no growth shown for SEN in today's Spring/early Summer 2016 timetable. SXF has no replacement and March has 47 weekly rotations compared to 53 in March 2015. The June 2016 timetable has 59 weekly rotations compared to 63 this year. Whether additional routes will be added in the next few weeks remains to be seen but there only seems spare capacity for perhaps a 4 x weekly flight with the existing three aircraft based fleet.

The spare capacity that I mentioned has been filled by a 4 x weekly SEN-CDG commencing on 26 February 2016 departing early afternoon. Days of operation vary slightly initially but settle into Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for the summer.

Good luck to them on that route. Should be viable, I'd have thought, and a mainline route to boot. I'd like to see a service to Copenhagen introduced sometime soon though....

LON-CPH is now incredibly competitive with easyJet and Ryanair going head to head so I'm sure the former would not want to start SEN-CPH any time soon.
Unless a fourth aircraft is added to the SEN base or w-patterns are used to provide additional SEN destinations I would guess that this is the limit of any S2016 expansion, but never say never I suppose.
