They will need an A320 for this route, certainly in the summer, though the A319 could no doubt be used for lighter loads in the winter. The winter scheduling (Thurs/Sun) indicates MLA is filling the gap left by the discontinuation of the LPA. I would say this is a strong sign that the fourth based aircraft for Summer 18 will be an A320, assuming the reported plans materialise. There seem to have been no recent reported tech stops of EZY flights between SEN and the Med resorts. Is this because no-one has noticed or bothered to mention them, or has the problem really gone away? If so, what caused it and what action was taken to eliminate it ? At the time weather (surface conditions and cruise winds) was cited as the cause but my impression was that the conditions were not really unusual and were only party of the problem. I can think of a number of possible factors but I would choose not to speculate. Does anyone know the answer ?

Of interest, this is the first month that AMS has not been the top performing route, as AMS decline continued and the extra Volotea flight (for this year, at least) swelled the Palma figure.

IF SEN is to get another aircraft next year, it might not necessarily be confirmed on Wednesday as past flight release dates have shown.
