Could put HUY back on the list perhaps? Jet2 may have had a favourable deal with MAG and so the relationship may have improved... I know its still a long shot but the ammount of charters that have declined and the proof that these were getting filled should be more than enough evidence that the catchment can support it.

I don't think it can do any harm, and I would certainly hope MAG are talking with Jet 2 about HUY ops

Perhaps the choice of EMA over DSA has something to do with a further announcement? I know its looking to far into it but im slightly surprised they chose EMA. Im assuming they got a very good MAG deal to do it.

I suspect a large part of the reason for choosing EMA is that a lot of the capacity lost by the collapse of XL has yet to be replaced. These new routes will probably have significant allocations taken by independent tour operators that would have used XL in the past. Though Im sure the existing MAG relationship didnt do any harm but I don't think it would have been the main reason

Then of course there's the lost XL capacity at HUY which hasn't been replaced either, despite XL making money at HUY.
