a reply from London Southend Airport on their facebook page...
London Southend Hi James, we're talking to a number of airlines. We know of no current arrangement for this route to operate, however that does not mean it will not.

Someone needs to get their act together. Jetisfaction are taking bookings on their website for this route. It's quite handy for a trip I need to make soon, so I will be booking two tickets tonight.

I expect it's just a matter of Jetisfaction getting a bit ahead of the game and the announcement not having been expected this soon by SEN.

Jetisfaction plan to introduce an ATR42-500 on the FMO-SEN route in Spring 2012. It's reported elsewhere that the Monday, Wednesday and Friday flights will be double-daily, but this isn't on the airline's website as yet.

The FMO-SEN route is now bookable as double daily Monday, Wednesday & Friday and daily Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday. Wef 5 November the Saturday departure SEN is 0725 with Sunday departure FMO at 1815, giving a very pleasant offering for a weekend trip to the Munster area.

I had a problem booking because they only take Mastercard. However, I contacted them and they said they will be able to accept other cards too very soon - but no exact date.

I hope all is well with Jetisfaction.
Exactly one month into their operations there were reportedly cancellations on their FMO-ZRH route at the end of this week. It's reported on a German forum that the airline said the Saab 340 was u/s .......
Their website certainly needs sorting out and their still apparent lack of access to the Amadeus reservations system will limited their ability to attract high yield business travellers to the FMO-SEN route.
A case of watch this space I think.

I really wish this outfit well, but everything seems so rushed, which may cause them problems, which in turn will undermine customer confidence in the service. I suppose they wanted to start the service as soon as Air Berlin dropped theirs at Stansted. Think they should have waited until the new year when the new terminal is available and hopefully some of the navaids on the airfield are operational again.

Jetisfaction seems to be in a rapid descent. Only the FMO-ZRH route is bookable on the website now. Looks like a repeat of last year's events despite them saying that wouldn't happen this time around. They're talking about a Polish investor coming on board - we'll see.

Whilst I applaud the efforts of anyone trying to start an airline, SEN really needs established operators rather than potentially unstable and unreliable outfits. easyJet is a tremendous coup, but it may put off other established airlines such as flyBE, KLM, Eastern etc. I think it would be better all round for everyone to be patient, get a successful first few months of EZY under our belts and then attract airlines whose names we've heard of to fill in the missing destinations. I repeat that SEN is like a building site at the moment and must give a poor impression. Of course, the Olympics muddy the waters a bit but should still be a big opportunity to show off the new SEN.

It's confirmed on the Jetisfaction website that FMO-SEN will not commence as planned on 31 October due to "operational reasons". Booked pax should contact the 'airline' (I use the term loosely!) for a refund.
All I can say is it's a good thing for drinkers that their management doesn't run breweries. Skytaxi's website has also removed all reference to flying for Jetisfaction on their 'News' page.
