After the very positive statement from Newmarket's regional charter director it was disappointing to see the flight removed from the website and not operate.
Newmarket's Summer 2013 programme is now on sale and there is no mention of SEN, and in fact SEN is just about the only UK airport not included in their dropdown menu.
So what has happened ? Was the response so poor that they did not consider it worth continuing ? Or something else ?

Don't worry, I can confirm that Newmarket Holidays do plan a 2013 Summer programme from SEN subject to finalising commercial arrangements. They intend to offer these holidays in their brochure to be published in December.

That's a relief. I was starting to worry that the big orange was scaring everyone else off....... But that would be a small problem to have in relation to the excellent work that EZY is doing for SEN.

Newmarket Holidays have increased the range of holidays they are offering based on easyJet services from SEN. There are the standard holidays, fly-cruises, short breaks including Xmas markets. The routes they are using are BCN, AGP, BFS, JER, EDI, KRK. There is also a Dublin short break using Aer Lingus Regional from SEN.
These offerings cover the period October-January, then April-June 2014. It will be interesting to see whether they will now put on some dedicated SEN flights for later in summer 2014, as had been hoped for the past two years.

I see Newmarket Holidays again have London Southend listed, appears to be using existing orange flights from the holidays offered in 2015.
