Something I'd not realised until the airport wikipedia page has been updated - 2011 saw a record amount of cargo - 1132 tonnes, up from 600 tonnes in 2010. This is clearly fantastic news
The break down is:
13 tonnes picked up by UK operators on scheduled services 272 tonnes set down on scheduled services by non-EU operators 125 tonnes set down by UK operators on charter flights 333 tonnes picked up by UK operators on charter flights 385 tonnes set down by non-EU operators on charter flights 4 tonnes picked up by non-EU operators on charter flights
1 tonne of EU cargo travelled on a scheduled passenger service 4 tonnes of EU cargo travelled on a cargo charter 272 tonnes of non-EU cargo travelled on a scheduled cargo service 364 tonnes of non-EU cargo travelled on a passenger charter 478 tonnes of non-EU cargo travelled on a cargo charter 13 tonnes of domestic cargo travelled on a scheduled passenger service
From this Icelandair brought in 272 tonnes from Keflavik 13 tonnes must be carried by Eastern and/or Flybe's JER TCX must have carried a lot of cargo to Turkey
But what about the rest. Have I missed a lot of cargo charters that operated in 2011?
