www.theezysource.comAccording to this source the SEN-AGP routed via TLS for unstated reasons on both the 20th and 21st, though the entry relating to the 20th now appears to have been removed. The aircraft involved were G-EZBC and G-EZBD. A check on G-INFO shows the MTOW of both is 66000kgs, compared with the more usual 68000kgs. If that information is still valid then it looks to me quite possible that with a full pax load especially a preponderance of adult males plus heavy checked baggage weight then the MTOW and not the runway performance would have limited the fuel that could be loaded. So a direct operation could not be planned. I note that for the following few days SEN-AGP is shown as Sold Out. If there were strong headwinds that could have increased the fuel requirement too. In other words it was the wrong aircraft for the route. That's my guess anyway.

Thanks. Sounds feasible. Let's hope it is not a recurring issue from SEN.
