I see HUY is getting a new aircraft washdown bay www.dsaf.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8637 (see bottom of first post). Where abouts exactly is that on the airfield - can't make it out from the picture Good to see investment being put into the airport infrastructure

Welcome investment indeed.
Drainage channels seems to be going in to the rear of the southern apron where the buses used to be.I would think that the southern apron itself would be the prefered spot but it could get a little crowded with the addition of aircraft for washdown to the existing Bristow's/Bond's movements and parking and any ad-hoc flights though so I wouldn't put money it.

You appear to have spotted my picture on the DSAF forum. It was taken from outside the Frank Morgan School of Flying by the access gate used by the FBO people. What you are looking at is apparently the wash-down bay area itself.
