Good to see Humberside is on the home page search engine of Thomsons now.
Thomas Cook have still to load London Heathrow, London Southend, Southampton and (hopefully) Humberside for summer 2015 as well as missing hotel and resort details for other airport.

The first few Summer 15 deals have appeared on the airport twitter feed today, selling Thomson Summer 15 & Balkan holidays departures. Humberside airport travel also look to have been putting up a fair few Thomson Summer 15 holidays on their facebook page - Hope they are selling well! createsend.com/t/t-86393B8719A32CD5

I don't think this is anything to do with jetXtra if i'm honest, more to do with someone with too much time on their hands. There is no way any airline would use footage of another airlines aircraft in their promo videos - e.g. Thomson & easyJet as in this one. Plus, all routes that are being 'advertised' are for Summer 2014, and we know jetXtra are not offering Dalaman - only Alicante and Palma, for 2014.

I tend to agree that this is not linked to JetXtra (although it would seem quite a random video to make). I cannot see Dalaman being JetXtra's next destination (Unless TCX move out) we are much more likely to see somewhere on mainland europe with large ex-part population such as Malaga.
Summer 15 does seem to have gone rather quiet since the Thomson release. Thomas cook still not on sale, so currently only confirmed are Tuesdays Palma and Saturdays Bulgaria flights.

What looks like the latest on-line Airtours brochure (can't be sure - there's a couple sitting on the site but this is marked "latest") is showing Corfu, Majorca and Dalaman from Humberside for 2015. No Tunisia shown. Would be good for Humberside if it happens!

Misprint? That brochure is the Apr14-Apr15 brochure. The Airtours Nov14-Nov15 preview brochures lists Enfidha and Dalaman

HUY Twitter has a recent reference to JetXtra providing a service to Malaga 'next year'.

I did see the tweet on their yesterday afternoon, but it appears to have gone now? Hopefully a premature slip of the tongue, and all will be revealed soon.
My hope would be Alicante returning to full season using the E170 or 90 to roughly match demand, and Malaga operating similar dates to this years Alicante using an E170 to test demand. I do wonder if BA will remain the operator next year - or if they will re-tender each year to the cheapest bidder?
Wonder where Palma will stand with Thomson moving in? Seems to be a fair few cheap holidays to Majorca still being offered on this years departures.
Notice its all very quiet on the Thomas cook front so far.

The tweet about Malaga is still on the Humberside feed but you need to click to look at tweets and replies. Here's hoping for an announcement soon with good flight times/day and a quality carrier! Having just been to Majorca with Jetxtra I can say the flight experience with BA was very good indeed.

In the article on new ski flights see thisisgrimsby. Paul Litten mentions new flights to Malaga for next summer.

Quote from the new Winter ski press release:
"With the return of Thomson airways next year for a 26 week period, additional services to Spain, Bulgaria, Jersey, Turkey, Italy and fly cruises from Barcelona and Venice, we believe the airport is turning the corner of developing more routes to winter and summer destinations"
I notice there is no mention of Tunisia. I do hope the Turkey reference refers to a Thomas cook programme as well as the new OSKA travel departures, but this seems increasingly unlikely, with THomas Cook selling a Dalaman departure from DSA with Pegasus on a Monday morning, arrives 8:35, departing 9:15. as well as a Friday departure. Hopefully pure co-incidence, but the brochure online shows a Monday HUY and Friday DSA departure.

I read the press release in exactly the same way. This year's Thomas Cook capacity is 5,953 for Dalaman and 5,310 for Enfidha. This is a potential loss of 11,263 capacity for 2015. Against this the Thomson Palma service is being advertised as running from 5th May until 20th October. If we assume that there will be a return flight on 27th October, it is a 25 week season. The Germania A319 with 150 seats would generate a capacity of 7,500. Antalya using a Corendon Airlines B737-800 generates 1,512 seats. Berne using an Intersky ATR72 with 70 seats generates a capacity of 840. These new services reduce the potential capacity reduction next year to 1,411 (although admittedly half the Antalya capacity is going to be in November 2014 - one would hope that it will become a regular feature). EDIT The new Christmas/New Year Alicante services have a total capacity of 456 and reduce the deficit to 955. Any shortfall might well be recovered by more unshared flights on the Bourgas route. There is also the possibility that the mooted Malaga route might have more capacity than the 2014 Palma service.

Some other factors to consider: Newmarket only have three charters flights currently on sale for next Summer, but early days. If it is a much reduced programme that will have a difference. This Summer they have 3xVerona, 2xNaples, 2xPorto, 1xDubrovnik There is the potential 4th daily KLM Hopefully there will be growth on existing routes The performance of Hull City is starting to become important. A long European campaign would be good for passenger figures And of course our passenger numbers are vulnerable to changes in helicopter passengers, and I don't really have a clue about what impacts on heli passengers other than bad weather is not good!
