There has been some recent Twitter activity involving Atlantica, which seems to be a company with hotels in Greece, Cyprus and Egypt.
@humberside on 3rd December. @atlanticareps Great to have you here.
@atlanticareps on 3rd December. Looking forward to seeing Thomson Humbs Lincs @humberside today
@atlanticareps on 18th November. Great product afternoon with team Humbs Lincs. We can see something special coming from this region
If Thomson are to sell Atlantica accommodation from HUY, there may be some associated flights.

I suspect (but hope I am wrong!), this might be a conference hosted by Atlantica hotels to local Thomson agents, to encourage them to sell holidays to their resorts, using a meeting room hired from HUY. I may be totally wrong, but I can't think of any other reason why a hotel chain would be involved in meeting with potential UK departure airports?

Thomson Summer 16 December issue brochures that have been uploaded so far show only the single weekly flight to Palma in Summer 16, so presume this rules out any extra flights for next year from them.

See the Southend Progress thread for news of British Airways' new summer leisure services from Stansted, using their E190 fleet. It raises the question of whether the Alicante and Palma routes from HUY would be more successful if they were marketed as British Airways scheduled services.

I think they kind of already are by HAT. Would be good if they could market as scheduled services, perhaps the odd W pattern using STN based aircraft could work? But I suppose it might be quite difficult to convince BA of that..
Edit: seems the new STN flights are only at weekends, much like those from HUY..

With strong rumours of Eastern aquiring some E170's, I think we would be more likely to see BA replaced by Eastern operating the flights "in house" as it were.

It's not just a rumour, but they are being acquired for the Airbus contract. So I'm not sure how often they'll be in HUY. They may well do some of the special departures.

Anybody know for sure if we have our own dedicated weekly to Bulgaria this year? Looking at the timings on Balkan Holidays site, and accounting for the 2 hours time difference, it shows the flights operating at the same times for the full season: Bougras 0630 - Humberside 0800 (3 hrs 30 mins) Humberside 0900 - Bougras 1420 (3 hrs 20 mins)

The Omega holidays to the Costa del Sol (Malaga) have been withdrawn. These were to have comprised 2 Saturday departures in August using BA. Obviously didn't sell well. I still think Malaga as a weekly route would work well especially as Spain is becoming vastly more popular.

Have BH Air used an A321 every week for their Bourgas service this year? Thanks

In May, there were 1.5 rotations using an A320.
In June, the rotations on 4th and 11th were by an A320. 18th was by an A319 and 25th was an A321.
All rotations since then have utilised an A321. The only possible capacity reduction was on 27th August when, for some obscure reason, the A321 departed to Bristol instead of heading off direct to Bulgaria.
With the possible exception of the Bristol deviation, all flights have been exclusively for HUY rather than shared.

Quite a capacity increase each week compared with Summer'15 where we had a shared A320 each week. Be interesting to see the loads on these flights when the information is eventually released!
