Some worthwhile increases on the 2015 figures for the STK/BEE operation (despite the increased competition on the Rennes route), shows that replacing the old/slow ATR-42 with the newer faster ATR-72 was the right move in terms of passenger appeal, along woth some increased frequencies.
2016 Annual Figures: Caen 12,566, up 21.3% Groningen 24,525, up 12.3% Rennes 41,957, up 21.7% Total 79,058, up 19.2%

Looks like Stobart have sold the ATRs they lease through their division Propius. I am not clear if Propius itself has been sold as an entity too, or whether it has been kept by Stobart (perhaps with an eye on being used as a vehicle for EMB acquisition)?
Stobart Subsidiary Propius Enters Aircraft Sale And Leaseback Contract Wed, 5th Apr 2017 15:53
LONDON (Alliance News) - UK infrastructure and support service business Stobart Group Ltd said on Wednesday that its aircraft leasing subsidiary, Propius Ltd has signed a contract with GOAL German Operating Aircraft Leasing GmbH to sell and lease eight ATR72-600 aircraft.
Stobart will receive net proceeds of USD62.7 million after the repayment of existing financing in respect of the aircraft. The proceeds will be used to fund Stobart's continued investment in its Aviation Division and strengthen its financial position. The lease are for a 10-year term with the choice to terminate after six years, and aggregate payments under the leases will amount to USD15.4 million a year. Stobart will continue to operate the eight aircraft through the Stobart Air division by providing flights under the Aer Lingus Franchise Agreement.
"We are pleased to have refinanced these aircraft with GOAL. Aviation is a core part of the group's strategy to grow the overall business. This transaction will provide additional flexibility to invest and grow both our Dublin-based regional airline, Stobart Air, and London Southend Airport where we are focused on our target of delivering 2.5 million passengers annually by 2018," said Warwick Brady, deputy group chief executive officer of Stobart.
Shares in Stobart were down 1.2% at 204.75 pence on Wednesday.

This looks like good news in the Irish Independent . It is one of the most frequently asked for routes that is not presently covered from SEN. Hopefully it will offer through booking with Aer Lingus for trans-atlantic routes.

That is very good news and will help fill the gap in flights over the winter as some of the new routes launched yesterday will be summer only.

What is Stobart doing?, why have the new SEN routes suddenly become mega expensive. I tried dummy bookings to Milan in early of July and they were all around the £450+ mark one way, someone esle said on on another forum that they looked at Vienna and it was priced at £1,000 return. This is going to put off a lot of would be pax if this continues,i believe these sort of prices are only on the E-195 routes but cant be sure as i havnt had time to have a proper look.

The Prague is well late this morning. Is the embraer a little poorly this morning, or something else?

The Jota RJ is unserviceable in VCE after operating yesterday's SEN-VCE. It's next scheduled rotation is SEN-LYS-SEN departing SEN at 17:00 so perhaps the ATR-72 will be retained at SEN to operate that as well.

According to recent job vacancies, the E195 is now on the Stobart Air AOC. Are they still using FlyBe crews? If so, I wonder how long before they can rely solely on their own.

What's going on with all the STK/FlyBe cancellations tonight? Manchester maybe, due fog, but the rest?
edit to partially answer: G-FBEH diverted to Dresden, and at 1808 just re-positioning to Prague.

I have no definite information but assume that they cancelled the RNS, GLA| and DUB flights in response to the TAF which forecast widespread fog in the south-east from early evening. In that way they would have protected their Tuesday morning schedules and avoided knock on delays later in the day. Ryanair did something similar at STN last week when SNOCLO caused serious delays and Ryanair cancelled their last wave of STN departures to ensure the next morning's first wave could operate to schedule..
In Flybe's case the fog didn't materialise so you could say they made the wrong call in cancelling their flights but the TAF was very specific and I was extremely surprised this morning to find that no fog had materialised in the south-east.
As far as the MAN cancellations are concerned I heard yesterday that urgent maintenance had closed runway 23R and that 23L didn't have a serviceable ILS and with foggy conditions there all day they had to cancel the SEN-MAN flights.
