The fares seem to be well-matched against the market-leading charter operator. However the market is possibly not a level playing field at the moment. If there was an airline which was making losses and also receiving incentives, their offer to prospective passengers might be irresistible.

You wouldn't BE referring to any particular operate from another airport not too far away would you?

Looks like Jetxtra are now finishing their Alicante flights on 2nd September not the end of October.This is really disappointing because Alicante is the second most popular destination in Spain which is having a huge tourist boom this year!!

Really disappointing to see the team now running jetxtra just don't seem to be able to cut it, not looking positive with no 2018 on sale. They haven't been able to compete on price with the BE offering at DSA, using BA was nice but costs wise they surely needed to change to a cheaper operator to get closer to the fares available from DSA, seems mad to have two seperate aircraft positioning in when both flights could be done with one and save a fortune!
