It is pleasing to see that the 'Weekends to Capture' programme has been repeated consistently since it was introduced in 2015. The loads for the 2018 programme were as follows:-
Budapest March/April 92% Dubrovnik May 92% Venice May 90% Venice September 78% Vienna September 92%
The advertised Superbreak programmes have now been completed and the traffic figures are as follows :-
Akureyri January 2018. 366 (96.8%) Akureyri February 2018. 186 (49.2%) Seville March 2018. 133 + 133 diverted (70%) Funchal October 2018. 226 (75.3%) Akureyri December 2018. 210 (48.2%) Akureyri January 2019. 304 (69.7%) Akureyri February 2019. 768 (91.4%)
Their warm weather offerings in spring and autumn do not appear to have been hugely successful and Iceland seems to be less popular than Lapland in December. The low load in February 2018 may have been because the flight was arranged at short notice following the high bookings for the January trip. The latest figures look very good and overall they have generated 1,834 passengers on the Humberside/Akureyri route, so it will be interesting to see if they produce a programme for 2020.
