That AMS figure is fantastic. My monthly AMS totals go back to 2008, and I make it the highest August total for the route in that time period (albeit only beating 2008 by 8 passengers)

In 2008, there were four weekday rotations on the AMS route. The annual passenger total was 141,304 which is the highest number ever recorded on this city pair. In all the years from and including 2008, August has never been placed higher than 5th in the order of highest monthly passenger totals. So far in 2018, it is 1st.

A full complement of 178 Amsterdam flights took place in August. Average load was 63.2 passengers, which is a load factor of 71.8% based on the planned use of an Embraer 175. Last year, four flights were cancelled and the average load was 57.5 passengers. The rise in average load compared with last year is 9.9%.
The Jersey load factor was 83.8% compared with 74.8% in August last year. The Jersey loads should have resulted in a profitable route considering the low operating costs of a turbo-prop.

The fall in the overall monthly passenger total has been caused by discontinued leisure services amounting to about 1,610 passengers. Last August, JetXtra/BA carried about 1,140 passengers on their Alicante and Palma routes. Omega/Eastern carried 471 to and from their three destinations.
The load factor on the TUI Palma route was 92.1% this August. Last year the overall load was 87.2%. If the BA load was identical to Alicante's 82.1%, the TUI load would have been 89.4%.
Burgas remained very popular, with a load factor of 98.5% compared with 95.2% in August last year.

It has been said by others on here that the Oil Rigs figures are unpredictable. This seems to be particularly true as far as the August numbers are concerned. During the month, the departure board was consistently busy, indicating 40 to 50 helicopter rotations per week. This could have been expected to generate 400 flights in the month (presumably the AW139 and AW169 - the EC135 presumably does not carry many passengers). In the event, the reported number of charter movements was 359. Leisure charters were 16 and freight 13, leaving 330 helicopter movements (288 in August 2017). Presumably this figure includes the EC135 movements. Passenger numbers fell from 2,235 to 2,060, an average of 6.2 passengers per flight compared with 7.8 last year. This fall is surprising as wind farm activity is supposed to be due to generate 650 helicopter passengers per month.
