The May Amsterdam total was the highest on the route since October 2008. There were 168 flights, two more than in May last year. Average load was 71.5 passengers compared with 62.5. This is an increase of 14.4%.
Last year, the Jersey route re-started on 30th April compared with 11th May this year. Last year the average load was 42.1 passengers producing a load factor of 54.0% on a Dash8. This year the average load was 38.8 passengers which was effectively 46.6 passengers because the opening inbound flight was probably empty. This would be a load factor of 95.1% on the 49 seat E145.
