Given the price they’re charging for a return to AMS currently, I can’t imagine yields are low. It’s doubled since I last used it a few years ago.

They must have read your comment. They have reduced the minimum Amsterdam return fare to £98!
Edit 26/02/19 That didn't last long! It is back up to £119- even higher than MME.

The current timetable is showing some interesting variations in equipment at various airports. The fourth summer rotation at Norwich has started early using a 737-700. Cardiff also has a short season until the end of March with this equipment. When the summer season starts, the nightstopper at LBA is shown as being downgraded from an E190 to an E175. During the summer season, one of the four Norwich rotations is shown as being operated by an E195. Could this be the result of the creation of Connect Airways?

Are they short of aircraft? Stobart E195 EI-GGA is currently operating KLM flights.

HUY has the benefit of the Sunday morning rotation for the remainder of the summer. There must be a severe shortage of slots at Schiphol because MME has no afternoon rotations at all until the beginning of September.

The summer timetable for 2020 is showing that the mid morning rotation, KL1485/1486, is due to be operated by an E190. As happened this year, this flight is not due to operate on Sunday mornings during April, May and June.

Looks like it reverts to a E175 in July. Can't get the timetable to work for later in the Summer season so unsure if this is just a Summer holiday change back to the E175 or if it also applies in September/October as well.
Regardless an up-gauge even for three months is excellent news

Some interesting little nuggets of info in this article www.anna.aero/2019/11/04/klm-serves-16-uk-airports-2-2-million-passengers-connect-via-amsterdam/Apparently we have the lowest proportion of point-to-point travellers compared to connecting passengers of all of KLM's UK destinations. An estimated 42,000 travelling just to AMS and 96,000 making onward connections. The top three connecting desinations are quoted as being Billund, Copenhagen and Aalborg (they are listed in that order so I presume Billund is 1st, CPH 2nd and Aalborg 3rd). Going by a table in the article, all must be below 7900 annual passengers though - or less than an average 11 one-way passengers per day. Quite how below that is unclear

The December timetable indicates that there will be a normal service for the first twenty days before the seasonal reductions begin. On 21st there is no night stopper arrival and on 22nd there is no afternoon rotation. The mid-morning rotation operates every day throughout the holiday period, including Christmas Day when it provides the only flights. On other days there are either three or four flights up to the New Year. On New Year's Day there are five flights. The total number of flights planned for December is 153, which is the same as last year (when there were 151 flights following two cancellations).

On the pprune Teesside thread, Humberside has mentioned the planned use of the E190 at HUY and the way in which the number of weekly rotations varies between 19 and 20.

February. Only two rotations on Sunday 2nd and 9th, but three on 16th and 23rd. Two rotations on Saturday 29th (leap year). Total planned flights are 160 (2019 156 planned less 2 cancelled = 154).
March. Three rotations for the first four Sundays, but only two on 29th. Total planned flights are 176 (2019 174 planned less 6 cancelled = 168).

Does anyone know how the current travel restrictions will impact on the AMS flights from HUY? With the loss of traffic I am guessing they will have to suspend flights temporarily at some point soon.
