yes, there is a call point in Car Park 1 to ask for assistance from a member of staff. I am not sure but you may have to inform them of your arrival beforehand though. The Staff will guide all wheelchair users through the terminal to the aircraft.

The CAA have just published their second annual survey of the 30 busiest U.K airports. This covers the period from April 2016 to March 2017.
The only airports to be rated Very Good in both surveys are Humberside and Norwich.
Airports which are Very Good 'provide excellent service to disabled passengers and those with mobility restrictions'. They have also 'shown a general commitment to seeking out disability organisations to consult with in order to help them improve their assistance service and enhance facilities'.
Airports rated Very Good are :- Birmingham, Glasgow Prestwick, Glasgow Abbotsinch, Humberside, Inverness and Norwich.
Airports rated Poor are :- East Midlands, Exeter, London Heathrow and Manchester.
The other airports are rated Good.

The C.A.A. have today published their latest annual survey. There has been a distinct improvement, with 16 airports now rated as 'very good'. The survey was given considerable coverage on the Today Programme.
Humberside has come in for particular praise as follows :-
'For the third year, Norwich and Humberside are classified as 'very good'. Of all the smaller airports, these two have led the way, demonstrating a consistently strong commitment to accessibility. Staff at both airports are passionate about seeking ways to always improve the accessibility of their airports'.

That's excellent news, I recently used Doncaster airport with my wheelchair and this time around it was really good assistance, going again in October but taking my electric wheelchair so hopefully equally as good. Just wish Humberside had Turkish flights again
