Maybe the sort of short season that could be used to build demand from HUY in the future???
Norwich Airport can now offer holidaymakers double the number of summer holidays available to Corfu, thanks to Thomas Cook Airlines, who will now be flying direct from the airport every Monday from 31 August to 28th September 2009.
Making it easier for Norfolk holidaymakers to get away this summer, these additional flights to Corfu will allow even more people to enjoy a holiday to this idyllic Greek island, with the added convenience of flying from their local airport.
Elliott Summers, the airport’s Managing Director commented: “Corfu offers everything the British holidaymaker looks for and is one of the most popular Greek Islands. We are very pleased Thomas Cook Airlines will be offering this new route from Norwich, giving passengers even more choice from their local airport.”
“These extra flights are fantastic news for our passengers who are not willing to give up their well earned summer break. Thomas Cook has supported us by reacting to local demand to serve local needs.”
New flight times are
Outbound – depart Norwich at 17:45 arrive at Corfu 22:50
Inbound – depart Corfu at 1400 arrive at Norwich 15:10
Thomas Cook has great deals to other destinations departing from Norwich Airport this summer including Majorca, Cyprus, Crete, Malta and Turkey.
