Weston Aviation and St. George’s Park Executive Aviation Centre Launch New FBO and Executive Handling Facilities
Weston Aviation and the operators of Tatenhill Airfield have launched a new venture to provide FBO and executive handling services at the airfield to provide quick and easy helicopter and aircraft access to the FA's new £120 million National Football Centre at St. George’s Park, near Burton on Trent, UK.
The new centre was officially opened on the 9th October 2012, and in readiness for its opening, the operators of the airfield in partnership with Weston Aviation have created a new FBO facility that will provide a quality arrival and departure point for all visiting helicopters and fixed wing aircraft; It will also enable quick and discreet access to St George’s Park which is located adjacent to the airfield.
“The proximity of Tatenhill Airfield right next to St George’s Park has enabled the airfield operators and us this unique and exciting opportunity to create a new FBO service from a blank canvass to make it fit perfectly with the FA’s requirements and needs. This will establish Tatenhill Airfield and the new St. George’s Park Executive Aviation Centre as a regular handler of both rotary and fixed wing aircraft” explained Nick Weston, Managing Director, Weston Aviation.
The addition of St. George’s Park to Weston Aviation’s existing FBO network, will bring the company’s number of locations to five, to include, Durham Tees Valley, Humberside, Newquay Cornwall and Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield Airports.
