I heard that airport senior management are moving out of their offices in the heliport building to ones in the main terminal to free up space for chc. This seems to suggest a busier heliport.

The Bristow quarterly results incorporating Eastern Airways are covered by the Humber Business website. (Filed under Ports and Logistics on 9th November).
Construction of Hornsea Project One is due to commence in April 2018 and take 18 months. Over that time, it is anticipated that 12,000 passengers will be carried to between there and HUY, involving 1,800 additional helicopter movements.

It looks like CHC have started flights to the Lewek Connector, a cable laying vessel, for Orsted's Hornsea One wind farm. I thought Uni-fly was the sub-contractor for CHC, but I don't think they've taken delivery of their new AW169s yet.

Hornsea Three has been given development consent today, so will hopefully keep the heliport busy in the future - a bit of good news to end the year.

It looks like another wind farm is going to be based out of Grimsby. RWE are planning to use their existing Triton Knoll base to service Sofia. It is quite a distance offshore, so this may lead to additional flights from HUY. Equinor have chosen the Port of Tyne for their Dogger Bank development, so I’m guessing they will use Newcastle for any offshore flights? www.business-live.co.uk/ports-logistics/60-more-offshore-wind-jobs-21655845
