The flights are to Friendrichshafen in Germany for a walking holiday in Austria. Not sure who the airline is, but Intersky might be logical as they have a Friedrichshafen base (EDIT - Airport Travel Facebook announcemenrt states Intersky are the operating airline)
Nice to see something new being offered, especially with Newmarket seemingly cutting back. Hopefully it will be a success

Great news to see Eastern trying something new - and something which can be replicated year-round if successful! I do wonder if the aircraft spends the weekend parked up at the other end waiting its return leg - or flies empty one way, which would be very costly. That said - the flights are not cheap - Nice on 1st May is £401 each return. Adding a couple of nights in a hotel and you are easily looking around 1000-1200 I would imagine.
Interestingly the range of the Emb145 is around 1500 miles, which would mean it could reach quite a few of the European sun-spots (Although I imagine the operating costs are quite high)

It is pleasing to see that these Eastern Airways flights are easy to find on Sky scanner. Judging by comments on another forum they are being well received and the fares have been described as very competitive. It may be that the fares have been revised downwards, as they now range from GBP 301 to GBP401. British Airways fares from Heathrow are in the GBP210 to GBP290 range for similar good timings (and LHR good timings are only good if you live in the London area!) The cheapest Heathrow direct Nice return on 22nd and 25th May is GBP861! The free champagne breakfast and car parking should also be taken into account!

Great to see Eastern expanding these weekend trips, and would seem to indicate the first batch are selling well enough to continue the programme. If Easterns jets can reach Rome - I don't know why they don't run a mini-charter programme via Airport travel with seat only via Eastern as a series of one off charters to various med destinations, with short positioning trip in between. The holidays would not be "cheap", but during the peak summer season when prices are higher anyway, I am sure they could be sold at good margin, whilst opening up new destinations (or long since lost ones), and would utilise aircraft on a Saturday when the main business routes are in low demand.
Week 1, Humberside > Faro > (positioning flight back to HUY) Week 2, Humberside > Malaga (positioning flight) Faro > Humberside Week 3, Humberside > Barcalona (Positioning flight) Malaga > Humberside Week 4, Humberside > Ibiza (Positionig flight) Barcalona > Humberside and so on. I am sure they could sell 50 seats for a series of special week break.
