That seems a highly successful LF. Let's hope that they return next summer with an extended season.

Tongue in cheek comment- to overcome the empty leg, perhaps they could operate Ljubljana-SEN-MBX-SEN-Ljubljana. No empty leg, and a much more tourist friendly timing for arrival in MBX (although not for LJU, but more established there).
The outbound last night went tech apparently and departed early this PM after attention at the ATC Lasham facility.

That's a 70% load factor as two flights were operated by A319 aircraft. Whether that was for anticipated wet runway conditions at SEN or high pax numbers I don't know. If all flights had been operated on the CRJ-900 the load factor would have been 77%.

From EX YU Aviation News www.exyuaviation.com/ . Adria Airways is negotiating the opening of a base in Paderborn in north-western Germany, an airport spokeswoman has confirmed. The Slovenian carrier plans to introduce flights from the city to London Southend, Vienna and Zurich. Although the exact frequencies are yet to be defined, services to Switzerland's largest city are tipped to run eleven times per week, while flights to London and Vienna will operate three times per week. Paderborn Airport has said that talks with Adria should be completed in the coming days when more information will be made public. The base is expected to open at the start of the 2018 summer season, in late March.
Adria Airways is tipped to station a Saab 2000 aircraft in Paderborn if talks prove successful. The carrier will take up to six of the fifty-seat turboprops from its former, now defunct, subsidiary Darwin Airline. Some of the aircraft will be based in Ljubljana and perform services to Sofia, Bucharest, Hamburg, Geneva, Dusseldorf, Dubrovnik, Brač, as well as a select number of flights to several other cities in the region. However, this will still leave Adria with a surplus of Saabs. The airline has previously indicated the turboprops could be wet-leased in line with its developing ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, insurance) operations.

The latest from Ex YU Aviation News is that Adria do not expect to take delivery of their Saab 2000s until June. It also appears they are still recruiting and training crews. The latest from this source discusses Adria's expansion from their home base but makes no mention of the proposed Paderborn operation.
So nothing happening here any time soon.

Adria has formally announced the opening of its Paderborn base, delayed from the spring. Planned flights to SEN are 3/week. There are also PAD-VIE at 4/week and PAD-ZRH at 11/week. From EX YU Aviation News www.exyuaviation.com/Adria has been embroiled in legal difficulties in Switzerland with the Swiss Prosecutor's Office and a lawsuit from Skywork both connected with the bankruptcy of Adria Switzerland. the former Darwin Airways. I don't know how or if these issues have been resolved but they appear to have been contributory to the delay in starting the Paderborn base operation.
