According to First Choice Facebook their summer 2016 holidays will be on sale from 23rd April. I hope this year is selling well. Having tried for a seat on two of their early/mid May departures without success I'm optimistic it's doing OK.
Jetxtra.uk/Worldchoiceair are also saying (on the their website) that summer 2016 will be on sale "soon." It will be interesting to see what they come up with this early - that's if they do! The earliest the previous Jetxtra people put flights on sale was late August.

According to the jetxtra Facebook page, summer 2016 flights are now on sale on their website. However I can't get their website to show anything for 2016.

Still no details of JetxtraUK's 2016 flights on their website despite being advertised as on sale. Their calendar won't search beyond 2015! However, I've found a flight search page from a previous web site of theirs with a search engine that works beyond 2015 and it shows Alicante and Palma 2016 the same times and period as this year again with BA.
I do wonder how these people think they will sell these seats and holidays - can we expect these routes to go the way of the Malaga route because they can't get their website organised and working!!

There's no place to my mind for these virtual airlines. Hopefully though, someone serious may realise that the spare Cityflyer capacity at weekends is worth chartering longer term..

British Airways might also decide to use their own spare capacity for leisure routes. How about a year-round scheduled EDI-HUY-AGP service? Flybe did well on this route with their marketing and British Airways are arguably even more powerful in this area.

It might be worth the airport pushing for that with the backing of HAT. A W pattern would seem like a good idea..

It will do.. They aren't interested. I'm not so sure the airport are either right now.
Can hope for a return of TFS or something with Thomson, but with their schedule from DSA it will be difficult to justify.
It's a shame with all the building work going in now that the passenger side of things is just treading water, but unfortunately it seems the growth plans of operators doesn't feature HUY too much, there's not much point in the airport flogging a dead horse too much. I think they could attract Ryanair if the will was there, but I don't think it is.

Further to my last post, and in line with their improvement in customer service, Ryanair will in the next few years start a package holiday arm..

To be honest, I think I when it does happen, it would be interesting how the like of TUI would compete.
