A bit unusual in that it starts in 11 days so this is probably the development of an existing charter arrangement that was already in place for new Siemens trainees.
Not sure if it is me but can't find the route to book on BA site yet.

Brilliant news!!
Not sure what else to say really, sums it up!
I wonder what the pricing mode will be. Hopefully it will be reasonably priced so that joe public could make use it too, something which wasnt really possible with the CPH service - Billund is very handy for the Legoland resort, and I am sure some would like the idea of a Fri-Sun 2 night break with park tickets included - Something for HAT to promote perhaps?

I would think that ticket prices would need to be high to justify the service, they highlight that it is a niche afterall.

Very pleasing to see a Danish link restored relatively quickly. Hopefully Sun-Air does their public relations job for the Danish food industry by having catering as good as Cimber Air had on the Humberside-Esbjerg route! The flight numbers are BA8252 and BA8253. The first available weekend on 22nd April would cost £344 return. By booking a month ahead, the cost can be reduced to £258 return. No fares seem to be quoted to Aalborg so far. Hopefully the route will attract oil and shipping business as well as tourists and Danes.

Not to put a damper on this but given the number of people who use the KLM flights to get to Billund it possible we won't actually see any passenger growth in the near term. Prices look to be slightly cheaper than KLM so if the schedule is increased it could become a success

The service is being put on primarily for new passengers, so I'm not sure how it won't grow passenger figures, albeit on a small scale..

Its also worth remembering that these new flights are only 2 days per week currently - so for some the flexibility of the KLM offering will win. CPH had no noticeable affect on the AMS route figures when that operated, and I think this will be the same. I understand that Siemans have block booked a number of seats for their new business in the Humber area, so presume the vast majority of those are new jobs in that industry, rather than existing posts, who currently travelling via AMS.

It is now possible to find Aalborg in the booking engine. It is only possible to fly there on a Sunday and return on a Friday. The cheapest fare seems to be £318 return (compared with £258 return to Billund).
Sundays BA 8251 Dep. BLL 18.00. Arr. HUY 18.20 BA 8254 Dep. HUY 18.45 Arr. AAL 21.25 Arr. BLL 22.10
Fridays BA 8253 Dep. BLL 15.10 Dep. AAL 16.00 Arr. HUY 16.25 BA 8252 Dep. HUY 16.55 Arr. BLL 19.35

Humberside Airport Twitter have clarified the aircraft type to be used on the route. The routine aircraft will be the 328, but occasionally, due to operational reasons, it will be a a J31. (Should not that be J32?).

Seems plausible, though I guess it depends on whether any real synergies exist. The current route seems centred around the training of employees so perhaps slightly different to Bremen.
