Good news as Eastern Airways are to take over the Isle of Man services to Belfast City and Newcastle this week operating 1x daily using BAe Jetstream 41 aircraft after Citywing closed and went into liquidation on Friday Flights to Belfast City will depart from Ronaldsway at 11.05am arriving in Belfast at 11.45am. Services leave Belfast City at 12.15pm landing in the island at 12.55pm. Flights to Newcastle leave Ronaldsway at 1.25pm, arriving in Newcastle at 2.25pm. Glasgow has been added to Eastern's Isle of Man routes. It is bookable and the first flight is on 2nd May. There is speculation on pprune that an Eastern aircraft will be based on the island and that there will be further route development.
