Zulu12 is showing on the arrivals and departures boards. Does anyone know if it relates to hydrocarbons or wind?

Presume XWOH is the new support vessel, Wind of Hope? It left Grimsby recently for Hornsea 1 and XWOH is showing on the airport website on 11th August.

Thanks for that. I have moved it into the Wind Category on the list. I have also moved all the similar X prefixes into the Wind farm Category.

The CHC schedule was showing a departure to Normand Cutter this morning for Hornsea 2 construction.

It looks like all of Triton Knoll’s turbines have now been installed, but Hornsea 2 work should be continuing into next year.

Incidentally, think EHKD is the ICAO code for Den Helder.

The CHC website is showing today’s DECY flight as the Deep Cygnus support vessel operating for Hornsea 2.

Yes, you are right. I have moved it into the Wind farm section. I had assumed that the gas price had encouraged more gasfield activity!

The CHC website is showing 3 flights to cable layer NKT Victoria today for Hornsea 2.

Edit: This may well be for SSE/Equinor Dogger Bank A rather than Hornsea.

NKT Victoria has been added to the list.

It is currently showing as stationary at 54.37N (a latitude half way between Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay) and 0.58E (a longitude just to the East of Hunstanton).

CHC website is showing more flights to NKT Victoria today. The airport website lists the flights as Hornsea, but it looks like the vessel is working on Dogger Bank A again.
