Loganair are due to operate two NWI/JER flights on Saturdays next summer, using two Dornier 328 aircraft. Departures from Norwich are at 10.30 and 14.05. Journey time is 70 minutes. Departures to Norwich are at 15.45 and 16.30.
It therefore looks as though the Humberside flights utilise the first NWI departure to provide the planned service. By delaying one return flight to Norwich, the HUY service could be doubled. As things stand, capacity on the HUY/JER route would be 1,088 next summer; rather less than numbers actually carried on the route in earlier years.
This year, Flybe have been offering 3,432 seats on the route.

There is an article in Buying Business Travel about Loganair, with whom they have had an interview. Loganair are to transfer four more jets within their group next year from BMI. These are to be based at Glasgow and Norwich. Presumably the Norwich jets will be ERJ135 aircraft to replace the Dorniers.
The HUY/JER season next year runs from 18th May to 14th September. If the above assumption is correct, total capacity on the route would be 1,332 (but effectively 1,258 if there are no passengers originating in Jersey).

A Scottish person posting on pprune states that the route is due to be operated by a 49 seat ERJ145. If this is the case, total capacity between 11th May and 14th September should be 1,862.
Total passengers on the route in 2018 were 2,262.

The capacity figure of 1,862 looks as if it will be reasonably accurate. The season starts tomorrow and is due to be operated by an E145 which is based at Norwich. An E135 is due to operate Norwich/Jersey/Guernsey/Bournemouth. Most of the season's Humberside/Jersey flights are now sold out. Any tickets still available are priced at about £200 one-way.

What an odd pairing, wonder if it’s some attempt at the so called ‘staycation’ market in conjunction with a tour operator - like with Jersey.
