A new summer Saturday Malaga service is showing up on Flybe's website, in both the booking engine and online timetable, running from 29th May to 11th Sept on an Embraer 195
BE1952 depart Malaga at 1155, arriving HUY 1410 BE1953 depart HUY 1450, arriving Malaga 1905
A fantastic, an unexpected start to the New Year. I wonder if there is a tour operator behind this, or if it is Flybe testing the water. Hopefully the press release will reveal something when it comes

There must be more surely? Unless you're right H and they are running for a tour operator.

What a great surprise, and it will be a first visit of a 195. It musr be 3 years since we last had a Malaga flight. As pug says, bring on a few more destinations. ;D The destination is showing on the airport travel service, but is not yet bookable.

Last time we had Malaga was XL in 2006
Re if its for a tour operator or not. Flybe seem to be more interested in DSA than HUY. The JER flight only exists for Channel Islands Travel Service. This makes me think Malaga will be for a tour operator. But I can't think what tour operator would be adding capacity to Malaga? As far as package holidays go it's a declining market
As I said hopefully the official announcement will clear that up. Hopefully it will come next week

Yes they do seem more interested in DSA but for how long? Ok they offer Jersey at an increased freq but BHD hasnt exactly pulled up any trees since it started.
I do have a feeling it will be a local tour operator attracting them in but i hope not. DUB would work along with CDG but i know thats just getting carried away.

I just tried Dep 05/06/10 and return 12/06/10 and it came to just over £96 return! Doesn't seem too bad at all!

That sounds about right realy. The flight to be operated on behalf of Humberside Airport Travel? Thats the way it seems to read anyway. I guess it will be announced on sunday anyway at the open day?

Today's Hull Daily Mail had a 1/4 page advert for HIA, advertising the Malaga flight, and giving prices for family holidays.
