elmfield, the Yorkshire Backwards funding ended last year i believe, i think it was just before the start of the winter season. The loads arent great but have improved since they cut the frequency down i believe, but BE are known for making a profit from thin routes so i hear. Not a great sign for HUY if this is true.
'Niknak' on pprune suggested a theory about the BHD service which could have some weight in it, certainly it would explain why there was a percieved lack of enthusiasm from management at HUY and people didnt even know it was operating. The AGP service has seen much more publicity...
There must have been something in the Jet2 rumour, as posts were coming from DUB suggesting it was to be a considered route. Who knows? It keeps rearing its head every so often so we could see then in the future. For now it looks like we will have to see if there are any additions to the TCX and BE routes for next year.
