The route to AGP carried 886 in August, so thats 111 per flight on average (rounded up) or a load factor of 94%. Not bad at all!

I hope so john, but ive noticed HUY has dissappeared completely from the FlyBE drop down menu. I know this is likely due to the end of the Jersey and Malaga flights but i hope they re-appear on there some time soon...
With regards the local advertising campaign, hopefully you're right but it could just be that they are seeing out an advertising contract? One thing i have noticed is that HUY has big adverts on the thisisgrimsby and scunthorpe sites homepages but not on thisishull...

Well lets hope they can get their brand known more widely in the area and we may see some more routes next time HUY is in the drop down menu...

Noticed on Facebook that there is a group started by Humberside Airport Travel about the flights to Spain. There has been requests on there by people for additional flights to Alicante and Murcia. These Facebook groups for HUY seem to attract interest looking at the 'friends' lists, which i believe shows the loyalty of the catchment area and how they would support the flights if they were provided.

I wasnt aware that they had stopped John? I would like to think that they are getting their name known more locally for more to come but i think i would be jumping the gun. The airport seem convinced enough to advertise Malaga for next summer, but i suppose we just have to sit and wait for them to release their plans which i suspect wont happen until around Christmas.
Im still not convinced that BE would be able to generate enough trade for a based aircraft, i highly doubt HUY would be able to fill an EMB-190 on a pattern such as;
Mon- ALC-DUB (or another city for utilisation) AGP Tue- PMI-DUB-FAO... Ad nauseum.
I think it would be too big a jump for HUY, even though the AGP loads have been very good, we must remember that these are seat only and the flights were only once a week on a Saturday for conveniance.

Does not seem like Malaga is returning. Flybe have stated their full summer 2011 schedule is on sale. Jersey is there (Sat May-Sept as usual) but no Malaga
Very disappointing. Either the issue must be yields, or the w pattern is proving costly and complicated. Suppose there is a remote chance Flybe are holding out for a better deal from HUY

Their full summer schedule is on sale so far... They didnt even put AGP into the booking engine until January so theres plenty of time to roll more out if they intend to. There must be something in place as the airport have been advertising Malaga for Summer 2011.
I think more likely than not yields will not be a problem, not with such consistently high loads.

Malaga has dissappeared from the airport website routes list unfortunately, so perhaps doesnt look good. I would expect them to be talking to other airlines, but then DSA will be doing the same.
Saying that though, FR et al seem to roll out a number of 'final' schedules before the season actually commences so i guess there is time for them to announce AGP in the next few months.

Tony Lavan alluded to new routes from BE, so i guess we will hear something in the next month or so. Hopefully there will be more than AGP next year.
