It was this time last year Malaga was announced. I agree though leave it too much longer (if there is something to be announced) and it will be getting late, especially for early summer

I think it was on or around the 2nd that it appeared in the booking engine, however BHD didnt appear until Feb (though obviously too late). I think theres still confidence AGP is to return, so i suppose just watch this space.

BHD is probably different with more customers booking later - i.e. Malaga is the main summer holiday for many, while BHD is a short city break or business trip
The airport announced Malaga on 6th Jan last year (the more recent press release they have issued .... )

I think this week could be the decider, if nothing is announced by friday then I think it would be safe to say that they will not return, unless anyone can offer something on the contrary?

I think we would have heard by now, as it seems they have been putting these out to the other papers in Scunthorpe and Grimsby last weeks. Last official management line was 'should be sorted soon', as far as i know nothing else has been said, but that was the begining of December. Realy not looking good.

A poster on the Pprune forum suggests that BE commercial department are still working on the complete summer program, so i guess if thats true then there is some hope yet.

Do people think we can safely say that this is off now? Surely if they were to put these flights on they would have had them on sale in time for the Humberside Airport Travel push over the last couple of weeks?

Humberside has appeared as a destination on the Belfast City Airport website. www.belfastcityairport.com/Flight-Information/Available-Routes.aspxI wonder if this might have something to do with an aircraft that might have to position in once a week to operate a late reinstatement of the Malaga route for the Summer It sure would make sence to get an aircraft to HUY and why not try and fill it up with some passengers instead of running empty.

Is the BHD website not just in need of an update? HUY was on the route map when HUY was initially announced, surely this is just a glitch?

BE have issued a press release saying their full Summer 2012 schedule is on sale. No sign of HUY-JER, or indeed any of their other Summer Saturday only JER services. However the flight is on sale with Discover Jersey
So either BE is loaded as a default airline and someone else will take over JER for Discover Jersey, probably as a charter, or Flybe haven't actually got their full Summer schedule on sale, despite what their press release says

They are clearly anticipating a tough year next year, wouldn't be surprised if this one goes to another airline if it still goes ahead.

If none of the other Saturday departures to the likes of Durham, Inverness, Dundee or Aberdeen are on sale, I think it will just be a matter of time before they all appear. I find it hard to believe they are potentially dropping all SAT JER services from the regions.
