The new BE JER route will operate on Wednesday and Saturday. Note there are already two EZY SEN-JER on Saturdays . It is published as operated by STK, not Blue Islands as in the previous post. However connections to JER via GCI and to GCI via JER are offered on Blue Islands.
When is it time to rationalise the different components into a Connect thread ?

Start a new one if you want, and I will lock the Flybe and Stobart threads

Maybe best to wait a little while until Virgin Connect 'goes live' as a trading style next year?

We already have one (about 14 threads below). Just needs to be energised, agree when Virgin Connect appears would be a good time.

I see on FlyBe site, 1 stop options to NOC (via EDI!), and MAN (via NQY!) have been added - I don't recall having seen these earlier on.
I wonder if there is any intention to add these as direct flights at some stage?

NQY flights direct from SEN ended 5th Jan, and don't re-start until 29th March, then 4 a week in April, 5 a week in May to October. There are listed daily flights, but some of these involve massive detours via EDI/BHD & MAN! Will this change yet, I wonder? LHR flights only listed to end of winter period, no flights yet on system to LGW.
GCI flights - seem to end now on 27th Jan, no more thereafter. LHR flights continue unaffected, with DH8Ds. GCI is listed this summer from SEN, but only via one stop at JER, (once the Stobart Air service to JER starts), connecting JER-GCI on a Blue Islands flight - not nearly as convenient as a direct flight.

The SEN-ABZ services appearing on the Flybe website are not Loganair flights. They are Flybe flights with a connection at NCL or BHD. They look to me no more than computer generated connections that will have zero passenger appeal compared with the non stop LM services.

I think you’ll find that they are direct flights, not connections. A random search online in January and February lists direct flights (1h 35mins) with the words ‘operated by Loganair’.
Codeshare flight numbers:
BE7461 ABZ - SEN BE7462 SEN - ABZ
BE7467 ABZ - SEN BE7468 SEN - ABZ

Well spotted tws123 as there is indeed a code share with Flybe on the Loganair ABZ-SEN-ABZ flights, but only until 27th March. After that date the Flybe offerings are not direct and there is no reference to Loganair. I wonder why the codeshare only lasts for two months.

I did not spot that it ends in March. Maybe a trial period? Would seem strange to have that arrangement in place for only a couple months or so. I wonder if Loganair will codeshare on the new BE Glasgow route? Guess we'll wait and see what happens.

Another Echo announcement on this route: www.echo-news.co.uk/news/18192222.new-flights-southend-guernsey-confirmed/However the FlyBe website seems a bit unclear on this tonight, with 2 indirect flights listed outbound SEN at similar times, but different length of JER stopover, and coming back from GCI, 1 listed as direct on DH8D, but with 3 indirect options (via a BCI operated flight), on similarly timed flights. The JER-SEN and GCI-SEN direct legs appear to be operated by BEE itself at the moment as DH8D listed as operating them. Anyone shed any light on what the situation will actually be, come 2nd May?

This scheduling is nonsensical. Will it really survive without modification ?
Do they really intend to put on two JER flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays with near identical operating times, one of which on each day routes back via GCI while the other comes direct?
It looks to me it is being set up to facilitate cancellation and consolidation. Wait and see must be the watchword.
The schedule now shows STK ATR operating on Wednesdays and the BE Q400 on Saturdays.
