On the face of that statement it would appear that MAG gave them what they wanted. On the otherhand, if KLM had moved to DSA then they would have had the burden of associated start-up costs of moving the base there.

New KLM LPL-AMS service starts march 09. I hope this isnt some sinister deal by Peel, DSA next?

Firstly well done to LPL
And secondly while Im sure Peel would love KLM at DSA the situation is quite difference. The LPL service is new, and in a larger catchment. It doesnt involve moving an existing service from an airport that would (I hope) fight all the way to keep them since its their single most important service

As long as the Humberside base remains profitable I can't see KLM moving to Doncaster.
