It looks as though things are about to get worse for Teeside airports scheduled links.
As it looks like Eastern Airways are to drop the 2x daily, BAe Jestream 41 Teeside-Leeds-Southampton service at the end of this month by looks off things. As no flights are bookable on that route on there website after the end of August 2011.
Flybe currently operate 3x daily direct services to Southampton from both nearby Leeds/Bradford and Newcastle airports using there larger Dash 8-Q400's so it looks they have won this battle.

I suppose at least the impact on passenger numbers will be relatively small since the service never carried great volumes of traffic. Still, hardly good news

Apparently the Sunday ABZ-MME-SOU service remains
