Regard ABZ as an important destination...which is always good! www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/2494181Again talked about more AMS (another rotation) & re CDG, putting on "larger aircraft" - by which, I think they mean making it all E190, instead a mix of (mainly) E190, E175 & E145, the latter still making a very occasional appearance.

No surprise with ABZ's importance to KLM and AF - arguably AF/KLM focus more on oil/energy sector destinations more than BA and the LH Group

Local press report had the ABZ MD confirming that KLM were to be adding a 6th rotation between ABZ & AMS in 2012.
Only "gap" for it (unless they completely revise timings) would be between the 1550 arrival & the nightstopper...so a teatime/early evening arrival, in my view.

The following are the intended departure times once KLM introduces a 6th rotation on the AMS route from S12:
0600, 0910, 1100, 1325, 1545, 1720. Outbound flights KL1440-1450. (courtesy SCAN)
Preumably operated by a mix of E190/FK70/B737/B738 as now.
Extra Info: Cityhopper will operate 4 of the 6, an increase of one over S11. Obviously mainline the other two.
