1. A fourth BHX flight from S12, this time originating in ABZ, which suggests a based a/c;
2. reports (PPRUNE) that Flybe intend basing a DH8D here from March 2012!
As the extra BHX flight is scheduled to leave ABZ 1025 (I think) it leaves gaps to do other things. I doubt 1025 will be its first rotation of the day, so I wonder what else it will be doing before & after.

A source has told me that Flybe intend to also increase freq on the MAN route from 3 to 5 a day M-F using the extra Dash, along with the extra BHX freq.
No doubt this is "parking a tank" on the bmi Reg lawn, to put the squeeze on them, given that MAN is bmi R's main route out of ABZ.

Rumours Flybe might put in a second Dash 8 into ABZ. We will see.

Now showing 5 MAN flights from Apr during weekdays, with Flybe basing an extra DH8D here soon. These are the times loaded into the Flybe website:
Dept ABZ: 0645, 0850, 1555, 1755, 1935 Arr ABZ: 0825, 1000, 1530, 1910, 2110(n/s)
Presume the gap between the 0850 & 1555 depts is when it operates ABZ-BHX-ABZ.
There was one rumour of a 2nd DH8D coming to ABZ to be based, but not heard any more about that so don't know if confirmed or just gossip.
But no doubt putting the squeeze on bmiR so will be interesting to see if they react - I think bmiR had 6 rotations to MAN a couple of years back, but I don't think it's that now.

Seems that Flybe are concentrating on LGW, MAN & BHX this summer, along with a BHD rotation. That means the chop for the LBA/EXT link.
