I have confidence that things are ongoing for next year and suspect that enquiries are being made by the airport with a number of operators. Money has been spent on upgrading the ILS etc so there must be some support for the airport from the MAN group

Whilst scanning through the Olympic Holidays Website i noticed that all the holidays that are bookable use other UK based airlines that have already released their own timetables. Humberside are using Aegean airlines and none of their flights appear so far. On that basis I am not too concerned yet. BFS-Heraklion using Aegean is on sale for Summer 2013. This year they are taking seats on TCX for BFS-HER. Next year Aegean has a Tuesday night departure. I hope it is not the HUY-HER 'slot' Money has been spent on upgrading the ILS etc so there must be some support for the airport from the MAN group Three things I think worth noting: 1. Charlie Cornish hasn't put the for sale sign up over HUY when he came in and reviewed the business 2. What little we are hearing from HUY/MAG management points to the long term. ILS is a long term asset. Short term however seems to be very painful But 3. If MAG sells a stake in itself to an investor, who knows what their opinion will be on HUY

Not a good sign, hasn't the Olympic HER flight been traditionally a tuesday evening flight?

Hypothetically, if Thomas Cook were considering consolidating Yorks and Lincs flights at DSA with a base there, then is it unreasonable to expect Olympic Holidays to be in the loop? Therefore any possible move over there could then result in Olympic moving there too. Of course same could be said for a based operation at HUY and Olympic instead taking seats on their flights, however that is highly unlikely in my opinion.

What evidence is there of TCX going full into DSA with a base?

Nobody is saying there is evidence of a move into a full base at DSA, but the fact that LBA and HUY remain to be the only airports not on sale so far for S13, and some Thomas Cook staff refering to internal memos suggesting that LBA has been withdrawn, then clearly something is going on.

Just noticed on the Olympic Holidays website this evening that the Leeds to Zante route is on sale for next summer 2013 again operating on a Thursday using the Leeds based Thomas Cook Airlines aircraft by looks off things.
Now that is an interesting development. I wonder if Thomas Cook have got a new deal sorted out with LBA ? They did say early June and all would be revealed. With June the 1st been this Friday we should know shortly..

Interesting - I have also noticed on the Olympic holidays website, if you put from Humberside, in destinations it brings up Palma, Heraklion, Dalaman, then Antalya and Bordrum - no flights come up though for next year.

HUY-AYT/BOD have been in the Olympic system for some time. HUY-Rhodes was until recently as well. Never any availability though

Just been told 'looks like (Thomas Cook) HUY definately not happening next year, still waiting on LBA'..
So I think we may have our answer if this person is reliable.

Thomas Cook flights from DSA for next summer 2013 have now also been removed like LBA and HUY.

Ross has posted elsewhere that Thomas Cook LBA is due to go on sale soon, howver the based aircraft has been withdrawn. No chance even for PMI w pattern as this year. If these business routes come off, will HUY have gone full circle? I'd like to think FR and Jet2 are being courted (talks probably never ceased), however it seems from the info we have available, that leisure routes are not the priority in the short term.
