Eastern to start an Oslo route from Aberdeen 6 days a week Su-Fr from Jan 12 2009, Saab 2000.

They've certainly had the PR machine working hard to promote the service. Lets hope it works out for them
If it does I wonder if they will consider ABZ-BGO. Again strong connection potential from the likes of NCL in addition to the ABZ market

Changes already. M-Th the OSL is now a one-stop using the ABZ-SVG service. Only Fri sees a direct OSL link for now.

Many ABZ routes are plunging because the oil industry is going througth a downturn. That, plus the "normal" economy also sliding is seeing big falls at ABZ - but of course, not alone in that respect. I find it frustrating that the business community calls for "vital" routes from the city, then when a route is launched, that "demand" simply isn't there.
