A comment by HAT on their facebook suggests that are trying to expand their winter offering next year.. Most of the destinations they are currently selling are via AMS.

Thomas Cook and Airtours Winter 2013/14 preview brochures not showing any Humberside departures.
I was expecting something to the canaries at least.

I would have thought we would see canaries back for summer before they start a winter program again. Lowcostholidays may be more likely.

I seem to think the loads were in the 50's using a Fokker 70 when there was INN previously. Nothing spectacular

In yesterday's City section of The Sunday Telegraph, there was an interview with the new chief executive of Thomas Cook. She said that they intended to increase their offer of winter sun holidays. Hopefully this increases the possibility of the restoration of some of the winter routes from HUY.

lowcostholidays.com have not yet released any details of winter 2013/2014 "Exclusive Flight"routes. ( I'm assuming these flights are not a summer only initiative! Hope I'm correct.)
They were much later than the rest in launching summer 2013 so there's still hope for Humberside winter routes. Maybe April or even May before we'll know.

Low Cost Holidays exclusive flights nationally are only operating for 4 months, late May to late September IIRC, so I'd be surprised to see anything for winter 2013/14. They seem to be going just for peak Summer Season. Maybe in the future, but a full 6 month Summer season would probably be the first step

Trying to remember the routes Thomas Cook used to operate from HUY in winter. None of them were routes currently operated from HUY at all any more though I don't think, not even in Summer.

HAT team facebook entry says that Humberside winter flights are not out yet . Are they saying that there will be some? Am I being too optimistic?? Has anybody heard anything??
It would be odd if Jetxtra has nothing to offer for the entire winter season. Not good for getting a brand established to have nothing in the shop window! They could of course start selling 2014 in September if they are ready.

In answer to a question, an entry by Jetxtra on their Facebook page says winter route details are being finalized. Fingers crossed - sounds like HUY might have some winter sun flights this year.
