Reading Tony Lavan's very short piece in the airport winter brochure, I thought for a minute who is he until I remembered he is the new MD
BUT what a remarkable low profile for a new MD. Would have been a perfect time to do press interviews etc, a bit of PR but instead nothing. Do the local press even know?
Obviously the sale is the reason why but it just shows again how the airport is merely ticking along day to day. All Tony Lavan has done so far that I can see is get Bristow, though I think that was in part because of geography

Remember Ringway Handling? Was he not appointed to run it down?
Is it just too much bad luck or do we think there must be light at the end of the tunnel with a new owner?

I think a lot will depend on who the new owner is, and what their plans are
