Sweet photos, what was the raf plane doing at humberside? Any reason why it's called vulcan 01?

RAF aircraft carry out training procedures at HUY most days of the week, Vulcan 01 is just one of the call signs used by the Shadow R1 aircraft from RAF Waddington, don't know the origins of their call signs.
