That must be a bitter pill to swallow for the airport marketing team, what with the BBC Humberside et al ready to great the inaugural flight. Hardly a great first impression of SAS for protenial new customers either - So im sure SAS would not haven taken the decision lightly. I assume this is due to the weather?

The St. Jude's Storm continued to track in a north-easterly direction, eventually crossing Denmark, where wind speeds of 120 miles per hour were recorded. Of the 35 scheduled departures from Copenhagen Airport which were due to leave between 17.00 hrs and 18.10 hrs, 19 were cancelled. The remaining 16 flights left between two and three hours late.
