There was an interview with LBA's Tony Hallwood in yesterdays Yorkshire Post. The main subject is a possible FRA link with an international airline. Discussions are advanced. Must be Lufthansa, despite the fact not so long ago they said they wouldn't. Obviously a very good chance of it hapenning for LBA to go public Also mentioned hopes to add more Eastern European routes - in particular Hungary and Poland as well as improve Scandinavian links. Also says going to extend Madrid to year round, despite the fact its been axed. Milan also targeted to go year round again New York service within 3-4 years is the hope and a MIddle East route is on the wish list too, though I suspect is a more long term ambition www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/businessnews/Airport-looks-at-direct-line.4833766.jp
