pprune rumour that bmi regional will takeover baby's ABZ-BHX, which would enable a frequency increase.
Personally I think a smaller aircraft with more frequencies would be far better and it would be a good move by bmi to do this. An ERJ-145 might not be the best aircraft, but thats another matter (LH please get some larger Embraers and some turboprops for bmi regional)
Whatever happens, recent rumours about bmi regional, such as LBA-FRA, all seem to indicate it has a place under a LH owned bmi. Clearly a sale to Flybe, which was the original rumour, would be far more likely to lead to admin/maintenance job losses at ABZ

YAYYY!!! Yes, I agree H a far better service than under bmi Baby with their old 737s. A proper business freq. And yes I think bmiR may have a future with Lufty in view of this & the feeder rumours to FRA. With the apparent withdrawal of EMBs from LHR, they need to be otherwise employed.

bmi R pulling off the BHX route from the end of Oct, leaving Flybe a clear run.

extra bmiR MAN rotation once the BHX service ends. Flybe adding 4 extra weekly flights to fill the gap. Better than nowt I suppose!
