Two of travel’s biggest hitters have called for a delay to the launch of summer 2010 programmes until July in light of the economic downturn.
Dermot Blastland and Mike Greenacre believe postponing launches from the traditional period of late April/early May would allow the industry to focus on selling more 2009 holidays, amid reports that January sales are on average 15% down.
