Things might actualy be looking up for DSA if a poster on the EGCN forums is to be believed. They are said to be in talks with Jet2 with a view to services....

Ross Bailey from LBA forum saying it is only to do with diversions,now cat 111 has been installed on the runway.

Yep and i hear also that RM the MD of LS says DSA is 'in the wrong place'.

DSA is performing, more or less, as a number of "experts" predicted it would, at the time of the Public Enquiry. With four airports within commutable distance of the regions major population centre, DSA has badly failed, so far, to dominate its local market.
