The average Aberdeen load was 16.2 compared with 16.6 in February.
The average Amsterdam load was 63.4 compared with 56.5 in February. This improved performance is underlined by comparing the numbers with those of similar airports. Although their passenger total is 611 lower, HUY outperformed MME this month.
The MME average was 62.1 (based on their 138 reported EU scheduled movements less 18 for Alicante, 4 for Palma and 2 for Faro).

They are losing staff rapidly and appear to not have much interest in business development. The KLM flights are unreliable due to staffing at Humberside, and still operating to an irregular schedule. There is scope for growth here not seen in over 15 years. They need to grab this opportunity for the benefit of the airport and region now.

Getting to the stage where many Facebook post by HAT generate a " what about some flights to" (sun routes/holiday routes) comment from customers. No reply ofcouse - not HATs call. People higher- up must be aware that the closure of DSA created expectations so far not met or even acknowledged.

People higher- up must be aware that the closure of DSA created expectations so far not met or even acknowledged. The number of comments whenever there is promotional news in the local media websites such as Hull Live relating to HUY asking for Jet2 to Malaga Tenerife etc would suggest there are at least some people out there wanting something to happen. I’m not comparing at all as I know scale is far greater but Jet2 have announced that one of the attractive aspects of LPL was the local travel agent pressure. HAT are constantly being asked whether there will be Jet2, they have responded in the recent past to some of these comments saying that they would like them to and ‘keep asking’, so you never know. But Humberside is small and I can’t see such a large step growth happening. TUI and perhaps Ryanair are definitely within reach though.
