Nice 'ere, innit? ;D
From winter schedules, KLM to increase AMS services to 5 rotations, with an teatime evening arrival at ABZ, a B737. Daily ex Sat.
KLM/Air France Gp have reaffirmed their commitment to ABZ. The high oil price may have something to do with it, as the oil industry is booming up here presently.

Don't see an edit facility, so just to add that also from winter, the first arrival is upgraded from F70 to F100....if that can be described as such!

Just to say KLM have used their new B737-7s on the ABZ route - have started to appear in the last few days on some rotations.

B737-7 on the KLM 1443 now - winter timetables now show KLM 1441/2 to be operated by E190.

E190 wasn't supposed to appear until next week, but I'm fairly sure an E190 arrived on the KL1441/2 today.

The evening flight might have been dropped already. Well I never (NOTTT)!!!
It's going to be very grim for jobs up here, oil is starting to cutback & the airport will be suitably adversely affected.
Couple with national high street shops going under, I cannot see any good news ahead.

Well looks like they're trying again with an extra rotation...presumably up to 5 again if the early am flight is retained. All AMS-Scotland routes gaining the extra flight...gla to 5 & edi to 6.
Edit 25/10/10: this apparently is not until Apr 2011, I've just found out!

SCOTLAND'S biggest long-haul airline has hinted at further expansion as it celebrated the 65th anniversary of Glasgow-Amsterdam flights yesterday. KLM chief operating officer Pieter Elbers told The Scotsman it aimed to increase Scottish flights to its Dutch hub after adding 20 per cent more this year. He said the target was six flights a day - like from Edinburgh - for connecting passengers. That could mean one more flight from Glasgow and Aberdeen. You can tell it's press......"long-haul" We'll see whether KLM make any comments specific to ABZ when their Dak (DC3) rolls up at ABZ later.
