According to a post on pprune TCX are sending everything except the A330 to HUY this summer. So that would mean A320, A321, B757-200, B757-300 and B767-300ER's. With just 3 flights a week (plus some May/Oct Enfidha) obviously some aircraft types won't be making weekly visits to HUY but nice we have retained the B767 this year

Unfortunately Tunisia is no longer bookable on the Thomas Cook website. Has the inevitable happened

At least they didn't pull it immediately. It's had 6-7 weeks since the President was ousted. An attempt has been made for it to be kept in the schedules at least. And I can't imagine reports of thousands of refugees in Tunisia is helping. Not everyone will look on a map to see how far away Enfidha is from Libya sadly
Disappointing of course though. I wonder if Thomas Cook will reconsider for Summer 2012, or with the first edition brochures likely to be released in the next couple of months, is it too soon for Thomas Cook to thinking about trying again? Tunisia or elsewhere though, hopefully HUY are in talks about new 2012 charters - even if it's just more Turkey.

Im assuming its still on sale from DSA? If so then its certainly very bad news, and doesnt fill me with much hope for much more from TCX next year, if not a further decline.

The Thomas Cook flights with Nouvelair from DSA were pulled a couple of weeks ago and they haven't taken any seats on the remaining TOM flights as a replacement. So there are no Thomas Cook holidays from DSA to Tunisia this summer
Thomas Cook are selling Thomson Holidays from DSA to Tunisia though, including online. This is of course the retail side of the business selling these holidays, not the tour operating side

It was posted on the EGCN forum on February 22nd that the DSA Nouvelair flight has been withdrawn from sale. HUY was definetly on sale then because I remember checking it

Some h4u cutcbacks sadly on DLM
Thu flights now start early June rather than 19th May Fri flights now only operate 29th July, then 26th Aug-30th Sept, rather than 22nd July-end of Oct. So about 2 months lost, including peak summer when h4u added a short notice 2nd weekly flight last summer
Bodrum doesn't seem to have changed

I wonder why they are being cut. Its difficult to imagine how HUY is going to witness positive growth over the next few years barring a based aircraft or major expansion from FR, unlikely at best.

Someone has put a message on the Hull Daily Mail website saying they have just been informed their tuesday flight to Crete has been cancelled by their tour operator...
They need an airline to come in and stop the rott, otherwise HUY will lose its loyal customer base to DSA et al.

Hope this is not true. I have booked and paid for flights online for June and have received no communication regarding cancellation, although it doesn't sound promising.

Could be wrong, I hope I am. Seems strange to me though, that HER is to be operated by a CY aircraft, but they can not find capacity to continue the LCA route past the begining of July.
All of these routes require based aircraft, yet none are forthcoming. Given up on the Jet2 idea now, as I believe they will move further south in 2012, so it looks like history will repeat itself again and we will lose these Greek routes in favour of Spannish routes again.

Heraklion has been down as Fly Hellas for a few months now. Remains on sale on Olympic website currently
With regards Larnaca my guess is that Olympic are struggling to find aircraft and have therefore had to combine two flights into one rotation. Rather than drop one airport completely I guess a flight to somewhere else in the UK now starts in July not May
